Jamal aka J RICO
SVP OperationsJamal aka J RICO is an instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer extraordinaire. He attended Brooklyn College, where he majored in Psychology and minored in Music. After performing and working with some of today’s top musical acts, as well as collaborating with popular up-and-coming groups, Jamal formed Intrinsic, a company dedicated to working with truly talented artists.
The list of popular performers Jamal has worked with is impressive: Tony Terry, Martha Wash, En Vogue, Cover Girls, the late Phyllis Hyman, Run DMC, Chaka Khan, Boyz II Men, Maurice White, Sandra St. Vincent (The Family Stand), Surface, and the late Aaliyah, to name a few.
Martha Wash (Two Tons of Fun, The Weather Girls, C&C Music Factory) was quoted saying, “He is a very intelligent and talented man, great fun to be around. He truly understands what the music business is about.”
Jamal has worked as a senior-level executive in several major companies, directed and developed music videos, and contributed to film and television. His extensive experience shines through in everything he does.
David Wallace
President/Director of FinanceMr. Wallace is the Director of Finance and has a background in visual arts and law. David majored in Criminal Justice and Political Science, and he applies his degree to managing the business-to-business contacts for Intrinsic Music Group. As a former executive with Trans World Entertainment in New York, David’s understanding of music marketing and distribution is exceptional, and it is fully utilized in his current position.
Frank Gentile
Manager of Business AffairsFrank is a multi-talented business executive who has worked as a senior executive for a major worldwide distributor for the past 15 years. Now, as the Manager of Business Affairs at Intrinsic Music Group, Frank handles all business relations and coordinates showcases, release parties, and special events for the company and its artists. A master negotiator, Frank spends tireless hours communicating with vendors and potential clients and oversees special event management.
Pui W.Ho
Director of MarketingPui W. Ho is a Senior Executive of the company and special assistant to Mr. Evans. Ms. Ho, a native of Hong Kong born in Curaçao, South America, is the Director of Marketing and oversees the A&R department for the company. Ms. Ho graduated from Baruch College with a degree in Marketing. While in college, she also trained and assisted the stage crew in set design and construction for school performances.
A calculative and professional executive, Ms. Ho’s business acumen and professionalism are beyond reproach. She designs marketing campaigns for the company and its artists, and promotes contacts worldwide. Ms. Ho has worked as an executive buyer for many years, developing her knowledge of marketing and sales presentation in the fashion industry. This experience honed her skills as a marketing analyst and enabled her to design many of Intrinsic Music Group’s marketing strategies.
An invaluable member of the company, Ms. Ho handles many of the company’s preliminary business contacts and serves as a designated company spokesperson.
